The U.S. Protective Service has agreed to officially endorse a new non-lethal device identified as the T-100. Director of Special Operations Lance W. Powers exclaims “ based on our tests and evaluations in the field, we believe that the T-100 is one of the most effective non-lethal devices available for both the professional and private sectors. Our agents are currently carrying the specially designed T-100’s for all special operations. The T-100 is a combination high powered LED flashlight with a military grade pepper spray dispenser. The flashlight has both strobe and red light features and is powered by a CR123 battery. The T-100 has a documented 96% stop rate tested by over 500 county sheriff deputies on a 147 suspects and is also identified as100% Taser friendly.
The U.S. Protective Service is currently working with on the development of the new T-200 U.S. Protective Service Special Edition Version, which will be the next evolution in both non-lethal and self defense devices.

New Strategic Partnership Alliance Announced
The U.S. Protective Service has formed a new Strategic Partnership Alliance with TSDA (Tulsa Defensive Shooting Academy) and will be offering the 1st Dual Operator Lethal and Non-Lethal Training Course for Basic – Intermediate and Advanced Conceal Carry Students. Unlike conventional conceal carry courses that only teach lethal response, the new TSDA courses endorsed by the U.S. Protective Service provide a new level of training by focusing on saving lives, while teaching conceal carry students on how to manipulate and deploy both a lethal and non-lethal option in response to the identification of the threat.
This is an industry first in advanced conceal carry training.

New U.S. Protective Service Agent
Marshall L. Luton Jr. joins the ranks of the U.S. Protective Service and has been assigned as Resident Agent over Protective Services Firearms Training. Resident Agent Luton brings over16 years law enforcement experience with advanced weapons and tactical training and over 10 years of experience as Director of Training and Lead Firearms Instructor for The Defensive Shooting Academy. He is a graduate of Security Forces Urban Warfare School (at Camp Gruber, OK) and retains certifications as rifle, shotgun and pistol instructor through the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (C.L.E.E.T.).

New Director of Cyber Security for the U.S. Protective Service

New Special Agent
Former U.S. Marine Pedro J. Perez with over 6 1/2 years of active duty and multiple successful tours in Cuba, Japan, Philippines, Bangladesh, Thailand and middle Asia has joined the ranks of the U.S. Protective Service.
Special Agent Perez formerly served with the U.S. Marine Corps as Petty Officer 3rd Class FMF Corpsman as a combat causality core specialist and will be assigned to the U.S. Protective Service Protective Services Division.

In-depth collaboration with stars and musical celebrities spanning Pop, Rock, Classic Rock, Urban, Country, R&B, Rap, and Hip Hop music. Some of David L. Agent Promotion
Robert Epting IV has been promoted to Resident Agent.
Mr. Robert Epting IV has been promoted to Resident Agent for the U.S. Protective Service and assigned to security intelligence.
Resident Agent Epting has also completed Advanced Tactical Carbine, Tactical Pistol, Tactical Shotgun, X-26, X-3 and XREP Taser certifications. Before joining the U.S. Protective Service, Resident Agent Epting previously served with Wackinhut GS4 for eight years as Security Site Captain and Superviosir for Honey Well Corporation with zero incidents.
Agent Epting will be assigned and responsible for providing blanket support to designated PSD Teams operating within the United States.

A Fallen Hero
U.S. Protective Service Senior Agent Nicholas W. Fleming was critically injured on 6/9/2009. He sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away on the 10th of June 2009, at 5:00 pm central standard time.
Senior Agent Fleming’s impressive background included serving as a Law Enforcement Officer, Fire Fighter, Emergency Medic Instructor for Wichita State University and Butler County Community College, Senior Agent Fleming was also a highly respected former Airborne Ranger” for the United States of America with two previous successful tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
Senior Agent Fleming served invaluably from 2006 to 2009 as one of the U.S. Protective Service’s Top Protective Services Agents. He was instrumental in the development of special projects including O.S.V. 360. At the time of his death, Senior Agent Fleming had just been promoted from Field Agent to Senior Agent with U.S. Protective Service honors.
On behalf of the U.S. Protective Service, Senior Agent Nicholas W. Flemming will be missed and always remembered as a true warrior, vetted professional and a valued friend.
